Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, dark chocolate and earthy hops. The finish is roasty with a malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
