Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (Boundary TTO 30/01/2020) - black with a light brown creamy head. Roasted and light sweet dark malty with some chocolate, caramel, coffee roast, burnt brown sugar, ashy malty, full bodied, dark roasted malty into the finish.

440ml can at home. Pours an inky thick black with a small brown head. Nose is pungent molasses, burnt caramel, dark fruit, some roasted notes. Flavour is bitter coffee, sweet dark molasses, some cherry character.

(Keg at St Urhos Pub Stout- ja portteripäivät 2019) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, ash and coffee. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A pleasant burnt brew with sweet notes. Bit too burnt.

Pitch black, tall fizzy tan head, mostly diminishing. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa, coffee, liquorice, dark dried fruits. Mild flavour, medium sweet and light bitter, roasty, chocolate, liquorice, vanilla, tar notes.Mild sweetbitter finish, chocolate, roasty and light spicy notes, good mild stout.

1/12/2018. Bottle from The Ale House and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, drief fruits and liquorice. Medium sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, above average carbonation. Roasted bitterness to finish. Fizz spoilt it a bit. Updated 31/10/2020. Richer, smoother, much lower carbonation, all the better for it.

On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Black beer lasting tan head. Burnt dark chocolate aroma. Some tar some blackcurrant. Decent tar.
