12 oz. bottle that Adam Jackson shared with me. Nose is awesome French Pressed coffee beans with hints of vanilla. The base of the beer Maduro with nice strong espresso bean, followed by vanilla and a chocolate malt sweetness in the finish. The bottle was fresh so all the beans tasted really great. Light hints of chopped nuts. Overall the body was lighter then I would have guessed. Real nice coffee based brew, worth a try for sure.

Much darker than Maduro. Nose is huge. All coffee and espresso bean. Dry roaster coffee taste. Sweet with a touch of mocha. Oak and cream presence. Drinkable but not in large quantities

Cloudy brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Dry palate, crispy turning smooth. Fresh coffee dominates, much like an iced espresso. Minerals. Decent coffee beer - full of flavour but not heavy. Just a bit of a one trick pony.

Bottle at Cervezas, Miami. It pours very dark cloudy brown, with a thin off-white head. The nose is cocoa powder, espresso coffee, hint of vanilla, marshmallow and toasted coconut. The taste is rich-roast coffee, roasted malt, nut, bitter dark chocolate, hint of vanilla and dark fruit, with a dry-roasted finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Well balanced. Not particularly complex, but very drinkable and flavoursome.

Bottle. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla and some light earthy/smoky aroma. Murky cola brown with a small tan head. Tastes like it smells.. chocolate, earthy ash, coffee, vanilla flavor. Light to medium body. Dry ashy / bitter finish.

Med brown, aroma of coffee, little bit of vanilla and some maduro nuttiness. Soft, creamy, lots of coffee kicks in, a little nutty and slightly sweet.

12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), pours an opaque dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma certainly brings espresso beans to the forefront, with some dark fruit, chicory and carob. Flavour of bitter espresso beans, sort of a metallic toasted malt and dark fruit. The espresso begins nicely, but sort of tapers off and finished metallic and nastily astringent. Thin palate with little depth. Disappointed by this one.

Tap at brewery. This is incredibly delicious brew. Smells of delicious espresso. Tastes of perfect espresso, and some caramel, vanilla, and malt. Light wood and bitter on finish.

12oz bottle I picked up at Connecticut Ave Wine in DC. Pours a translucent, mahogany brown with a thin, eggshell head. Nose is brown sugar, coffee grounds, a little nutty, some dark toast, a strong apple aroma. Flavor is sweet, apples, brown sugar, pear, light coffee, a little nut, some cake icing, a little stale bread. Strikes me as being infected. There’s a strong apple cider flavor and aroma that seems out of place. The coffee flavors come in at the very end and are a little watery. Watery, finish over all. There are dozens of better coffee beers out there.
