Bottle shared @ Tasting. Murky brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma is lightly sour, tart, sour fruits. Tastes about the same, but a very balanced flavor. Starts out sour but it’s so incredibly balanced and fruity. Very nice this one!

Sample at Crooked Stave. The beer pours a clear ruby-brown color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of oak, tart fruit and caramel. Medium-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, caramel malt and funky yeast. The finish is brett yeast and tart vine fruits. Pretty good all around.

Tasting at Jack’s RAH Annexe! Almost opaque dark amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light dry and crispy. Gueuzey sourness. Touch of brandy. Dried fruits. Lemon acid. Dry finish. Too sharp for me.

Bottle bought @ The Mikkeller webshop. Pours reddish brown with a frothy beige head that leaves lots of spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty, fruity and funky with dark bread, pink grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit, moist soil, hay, barnyard, leather, raspberries, blackberries and lemon zest. Taste is sour, tiny bitter, malty, fruity and funky with dark bread, caramel, cereal, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, moist hay, barnyard, moist soil and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, tart and medium bodied. Finish is sour , funky and fruity with dark bread, lemon juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit, moist hay, moist soil, leather, barnyard and lemon zest. Really interesting mix of an oud bruin and the tropical fruit funk of the Anchorage brett. Quite cool!
