A pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

Draught, half pint, at Euston Tap. Golden-amber coloured body. Minimal lace and head. Lemony hops on the nose, malty sweetness beneath. Flavoured with pine, mild brown malts and some spices. Leafy hops to the finish. Well rounded mouth feel. Good drinking (London 24.09.2014).

Taste smooth medium bitter, slightly sweet, hint of caramel, citrus hops. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, smooth mouthfeel, average carbonation. Lingering dry bitter finish, bit chalky. Bottle. Appearance is golden, a big white head which hangs around for the duration. Aroma- big citrus, lemon, grapefruit, hoppy notes, also caramel hints, and a malty breadiness is detectable. Taste- bitter hops, zesty, citrus fruits, fairly full in the mouth and a bit creamy, with a long finish. Very nice.

Pours amber with a large lasting mousse-like head.Nose shows floral and citrussy hops with some apple and peach blossom too. Light sweet malt underneath.Less fruity flavours but with some grapefruit and spicy hops. A little sweet clean malt followed by a pretty assertive bitterness.Carbonation is too high.
