Well-known Australian stout with beige head and all-black colour as typical for the style, agreeable aroma with some coffee, chocolate and dark fruits, taste lightly fruity, supple and well-rounded dark maltiness, chocolate, finishing mildly roasted bitter. Very drinkable.

Aroma: Roasted malt, mild chocolate and mild coffee.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Dry texture.
Taste: Roasted malt, mild coffee and mild fruity back.
Overall impression: Easy drinkable and ok stout.

Flaska från SB. Svart vätska med kaffebrunt skum. Knuten doft. Nästan lite tandkräm. Kaffe och bränt gummi i smaken. Tunn på gränsen till blaskig.

Pours a deep black color, topped with very generous cream colored head. The retention is very nice. There are some roasted malts in the aroma, some coffee and some nice and inviting caramel. The taste is creamy and sweet at firts, some roasty taste and quite some coffee (although not unplesant). Finishes with some caramel and very decent bitterness. Definitely the best Coopers I’ve had.

375mml Bottle tasted on 16/06/2014. Black opaque colour with a minimum head. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. The taste is sweet chocolate and a little of hops. Medium body and soft carbonation. The texture is good but the head is a fail. Next one please!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Kaffee, Schokolade. Geschmack ebenfalls röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffee.

375ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Colour is dark brown with tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and chocolate. Taste has notes of coffee, chocolate, and dried fruits. A little thin finish.

Flaske fra Systembolaget i Malmø: beige skum som fort blir til en film. Slank aroma av røstet malt, kaffe og mørke bær, muligens litt sjokolade. Slank kropp og beskjeden smak og ettersmaken byr heller ikke på de store opplevelser. Lett å drikke men distinctly underwhelming.

Bottle from Beer Run. Pours inky black with a large foamy mottled tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of chocolate, banana, candied banana, roast, a bit of cherry. The taste is roast, chocolate, cocoa, mild fruits in the finish. Medium bodied, smooth, creamy, easily drinkable.
