On tap at Craftprotz. A very dark brown beer with a tan head. Aroma of bitter roasted malt, coffee, bitter resinous hops. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate, intense bitter hops. Nice!

Stark malziger Beginn, röstig, weich. Angenehmer, deutlich ansteigender Hopfen. Harmonisch, weich herb, Schokolade, angenehme aber milde Bitterkeit. Süffig, weich hopfiger Abgang, trockenes Mundgefühl. 10/11/12/12//12

Tap at Unorthodox, Warpigs tap takeover. Exactly what I expect of black IPA. Rather thin body and high carbonation. Moderate roasted malt character, lots of grassy earthy hops character. Full on CDA. Good one!

On tap at Warpigs, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals a great mix of roasted malt and piney hops, though it's not as forward as the flavour, which packs a punch: loads of piney, earthy hoppy goodness, with a robust roasted malt base. Expertly balanced with loads of depth. Fantastic.

Sample @ 6TH WANDERLUST CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL (2nd day). F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: almost black, opaque. A: dark malts, citrus, orange, bit herbal, dark honey, pine resin touch. T: medium to full dark malty base, orange, herbal, tangerine, pine, dark forest honey, soft carbonation, quite nice for the style, enjoyed.
