This beer is all about creating tropical fruit flavours from the fermentation without using actual fruit. By fermenting with only Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus and adding a tea of aged hops to the wort this magic happens. It is a mysterious and enigmatic beer that is easy to love. Aged in oak foeders and drawn off using a one vessel solera style method.

(Bottle) Clear golden colour with brief head. Fruity nose with citrus, oak wood, pickles, hay, red apples and citrus peel. Fruity, tart taste with notes of oak wood, apple cider vinegar, hay, apricots, yellow plums and lemon. No bitterness. Light body, dry. Woody, acetic and puckering. Nice one.

Far to dry and acidic for my stomach The yeast has killed everything Clear golden in the glass and a fine head Decent intensity in the aroma Mostly yeast (not the usual cucumber feeling the Eik & Tid beer normally have) oak and some faint citric feeling in the flavor [Bottle at Kokkeekolektivet in Halden, Norway]

Klar gulbrun med bobler. (Hvis du ikke velger å snurre på flaska for å få med smakene som ligger i bunnen av flasken).Ikke skum. Lukter malt og sitron. Meget forfriskende i sola. Smaker lys malt, sitron, appelsin. Akkurat passe syrlig.

Bottled (from Vinmonolet Kirkenes). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is floral, tart and somewhat acidic with rowanberries. Flavour follows that pattern, but with a strange tart/vinegary kick. Feels like something gone wrong brewwise and sold as a sour.

On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. It pours a golden colored lightly foggy body and no head. The aroma is fruity and with quite a lot of vinegar. Some bread and lemony, barnyard-ish funk too. It's tart and dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a medium to full body. The flavor feels more funky than the aroma, lemon, barnyard and some leather, with vinegar, hints of bread and a nice fruityness. Medium length finish. A bit dull this one, with too much vinegar. 190608

Bottle batch f89p6 (seems to be big batch variation here) . Slightly unclear yellow golden body with a thin, short lived white head. Nice funky aroma, fresh citric fruit, lemon and acid. Super refreshing taste, citric fruit, oranges, lemon, zest and smooth funk. This is quite acidic but not too much when passing through the first glass. Light bodied, but not watery with the same fresh fruity aftertaste. Nice, tasty and super re-freshing.

Pours unclear, darker blonde. Creamy, medium stable white head. Smell is tart (mild vinegar). Oak, DMS, herbal. Taste is sharp, acidic, mild acetic. Raw and green, not as DMS forward here. Herbal. OK
