Hier freut sich der Malzliebhaber genauso wie der Hopfenfan. Erdig- körnige Malznoten gepaart mit frischen, leicht zitrusartigen Aromen, die sich beide gegen Ende hin steigern. Ein schöner Körper in opalisierendem Kleid. Überraschend erfrischend für ein Kellerbier und bereits vier Mal beim European Beer Star ausgezeichnet.

Flasche gekauft im Hopfen&Malz. Gold-gelb, klar, fester Schaum. Aroma Hopfen, Getreide, Zitrus. Geschmack: Etwas modrig, frisches Obst (Apfel), Grundgeschmack ist mir nicht klar.

Bottle. Surprisingly clear golden color with white head. Aroma is strawy pale malts, floral hops (Pilsner-like). Taste is pale malts, hay and straw, sweet grains. Surprisingly chewy. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Simple but good.Tap. Hazy color, but besides that, the same as the bottle.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow, white lace. Light citrich hop and yeast aroma. Herbal light dusty dry start, light hayish malt, good grassy and aromatic hop finish. Chewy medium light body, sparkly on the palate. Solid.

Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours very hazy burnt deep yellow with a small frothy and bubbly white head that leaves some spotty trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and floral with doughy dark bread, sourdough crackers, crispbread, hay, dried yellow flowers, old dry wood, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, malty and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, flat, round, tiny dry, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with doughy dark bread, sourdough crackers, hay, dried flowers, minerals and lemon peal. Nice if a bit too doughy malts, nice floral hops, nice minerality and nice sweet/dry balance. That on top of extremely high drinkability makes this a treat in a hot summers day. Quality kellerbier!

Bottle from the station store in Bamberg. Very cloudy gold with lace. Rustic rye bread in the nose, some caramel, grass, earthy hops, bread and biscuit, herbs. Nice malt flavor, chocolate and caramel coming through a bit. Very dry and hoppy, grassy and earthy. Decent stuff. Would like to try this on tap someday.

Draft at Hoppy Days. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of dough, light malts, toffee, bread. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Flasche. - Zitronengelb, leicht trüb. - Geruch nach Hefe und mild zitronigem Hopfen. - Im Antrunk frisch zitroniger, grasiger Aromahopfen, eingebettet in milde Hefe. Mild rezent, angenehm „kreidiges“ Mundgefühl. Mittelbitterer Nachtrunk mit schön grasigem Hopfen und etwas schroffer, „grüner“ Schärfe. - Recht süffiges Kellerbier. Reicht aber nicht an das Weiherer Keller-Pils heran.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Very pale yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, some skunked hop. Flavour is crisp nobel hop. Palate is crisp and semi-dry finish. Lightish slight floral fiish.
