Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.

Bottle @ ZEBF 2015. Thick black pour. Aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is rich, with vanilla, roasted malt and cacao. Bit of boozy red fruit there as well. Good beer.

Vanille und Kaffee im weichen Antrunk, vollmundig, massiv malzig. Die Bourbonnoten sind gegen das massive Malz nur nebensächlich, insgesamt daher rund. Weiterhin Kaffee, geringe Alkoholigkeit. Etwas trocken zum Ende, Kakao. 10/11/8/11/9/11

From the July 2014 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured thick, black and oily with a small foamy dark brown head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was coconut, slick oily malts, anise, bourbon, brown sugar and marzipan. The flavor was port wine, bourbon, coconut, anise, chocolate syrup, vague fruity hops, bread dough and marzipan. Very long finish. Very full, thick and smooth body. Outstanding!

From trade with jbuddle, sampled from the 0.65l bottle @ Top Hops (BA) Bottle Share. Oh, it's REALLY deep dark and near jet black in the glass this one! It has a nice medium sized deep dark brown head on top. A lovely nose with lots of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and a strong warming sweetness. Superb. A bit dry on the flavor initially, as I expected lots of sweetness. I get traces if both cardboard (in a strange good way), lots of chocolate, deep vanilla and lots and lots of wood! Dry cocoa and salty licorice lingering in the finish. It's soft and prickling on the bubbles and thick, viscous and chewy in the mouth. An amazing beer. 15.06.2013

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet roasted malt notes with some light black chocolate notes. Taste is also dominated by quite a bit of residual sugars with some nice dry roasted malt notes. Notes of coffee and molasses are also very pleasant. Body is full with nice thick oily texture with good carbonation and alcohol is not overly apparent. Nice big IS which retains some good drinkability level.
