Vicious and viscous, this menacing brew pours opaque black with a creamy maduro-colored head. Its aroma offers seductive whiskey, chewy red wine, dark fruit and lavish tobacco. Berserker Imperial Stout invades your taste buds with in-your-face flavor. Weighing in at almost 13% alcohol by volume, Berserker is completely out-of-control. Give it a good fight.

Bottle - thanks brewolf! Intensely dark brown pour with a short lived brown head. Rich aroma is thick with sweetness. Molasses and oak. The maple syrup is evident at first sip and again in the tail. Sweet. More molasses and this time vanilla. Some chocolate. Smooth barrel notes compliment it all. Drank great from cellar to room temp. Excellent.

22 oz. bottle, split with manuchampions, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of raisins, molasses and a little roasted malt. Flavour reveals a sort of raisin-bread upfront, with a touch of molasses / chocolate malt and oak, and booze. Thick, syrupy, and heavy mouthful. Delicious

Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Murky, tarry opaque black body, medium creamy brown head. Thick, smoky nose, with tarry burnt sugars, molasses, maple, coffee, and musty oak. Inky, salty body, thick and viscous but pleasantly carbonated, with molasses, roasted malts, coffee, and maple, leathery, tannic, and rich. Best enjoyed as a few-ounce sample, the overwhelming flavor profile becomes cloying after a few draws. Still, this is quite good.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of daknole. Pours an opaque black with a neat light brown head. Hard roasted malt in the nose and quite some alcohol. Solid body, hard roasted malt, a little wood and a vague smoky note. Some hard roasted malts in the finish, but not overly bitter. A very well balanced Imperial Stout. Neat. 270310
