We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700′s, and made it bolder and more flavorful—American Style. We added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character.

12o bottle split. Amber-yellow color, with nice patchy head that laces the sides of the glass. Astringent bitter hop aroma lemon grapefruit, I can dig it. Rather soft on the palate, with an awesome tropical hop tastes. Mango, passion-fruit, whatever, this is awesome. Summit hop assumably. Very clean and refreshing for 7%. An excellent beer.

355ml bottle. Pours a golden orange with a large head. Aroma is resinous hops with some orange. Some orange to start, then a hoppy bitter finish. A bit watery in the mouth, especially considering its 7%.

Bottle at Akkurat. Amber with a medium white head. A soft and tasty IPA. A lot of pineapple and citrus. Refreshing and nicely balanced. Descent stuff.

New rubber, shit, and daffodil smell. Clear amber, no head. Shitty malt flavor, with daffodil and marigold notes. No sir, I didn’t like it.

12 oz purchased at Lukas, OP. Stamp on bottle is not legible, though last two digits are 10, which is good I suppose. Pour is a hazed orange yellow with a nicely building two inch white head. Aroma is really nice and rounded orange and peach fruit bitter sweetness along with a nice grainy resin character. Behind the hops is a toasted caramel malt that gives it some body. Taste is the nose, though the resin comes through a bit stronger (and danker) than the fruit sweetness. In addition, there is a sugar sweetness that stuck out a bit, and detracted. The malt is also more present, which actually helps build a very nicely balanced IPA. With the exception of the sugar, the flavors blend nicely, though lack some of the pop of the nose - perhaps this is a freshness issue. Palate is medium bodied, slight lower carbonation level that really lets the resin coat the mouth. I liked this one, amazed I had never rated it. I’m not even sure I had ever had it.

Bottle thanks to jbye4334. Pours with a slightly hazed golden body and a large white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and hay. A bit of orange and a bit of an off dirty note. Taste is floral hops and juicy citrus. Pretty nice. Some ruby grapefruit. I like it! Light to medium bubbles. Dry finish. Quite smooth actually.
