We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700′s, and made it bolder and more flavorful—American Style. We added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character.

Poured a golden/orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is touches of citrus, spices, sweet malts. Hop aroma subtle, but full of hops. Flavor has notes of caramel, touch of grain, full flavor of hops.

Bottle that I picked up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, Oxon, consumed 18-09-09 Pours warm gold with a white head. The hops struggle to shine on the nose as they compete with a heady sweetness, plenty of honey on the nose. The taste lacks the crisp hoppy bite or decent bitterness, its got good flavours but the honey sweetness does tend to dominate.. A7 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Pours a hazy dark gold with a soapy, sticky lace - potent nose of resinous hops, with some orange peel and other citrus qualities, as well as some honey and caramel sweetness to anchor all the bitterness - a load of earthy pine cone - dry bitterness, with some fruit peel tang and peppery, zesty qualities - some tropical fruit sweetness, but just enough to keep the hops and peppery flavors from becoming too much - a really well-executed IPA - the kind of IPA that reminds me why I haven’t given up on the style.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured an amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma was fragrant grassy hop mixed with tropical fruit notes.Plenty of hops jostling in the flavour with balanced sweet malt. All very well proportioned with good bitterness in the finish. A vey solid and tasty IPA.

Bottle. Copper coloured pour with decent white head. Wonderful hoppy aroma was spot on. Hoppy, malty, pine, citrus taste, no sweetness but really drinkable. This is my kind of IPA, wish I had bought more.

Golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of peach, apricot and pine. Sweet and fruity flavour with a hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden light amber with a little head and aromas of grass, citrus and honey. Flavor is heavily malty with floral hops and not quite enough bite to it. There is a little bit of a grassy side to it as well, but it has me wondering whether this is old or stored poorly...

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy pine needles aroma. Fruity malty hoppy pine needles dlavor. Has a malty hoppy bitter finish.

courtesy of russpowell pours clear orange, thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and pine, with light malts Taste, hoppy, citrus and grapefruit not too forward. Thick palate, light sugary notes, light malts, not overly bitter.

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ home.Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
