We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from England to India in the 1700′s, and made it bolder and more flavorful—American Style. We added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character.

Bottle. Deep gold body with orange highlights. Small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, resin, grapefruit, orange, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Excellent balance. No sharp edges, it displays some soft floral notes in the finish along with hints of orange juice and grapefruit. That moves it well above average. Enjoyable.

A hazed IPA with a thick light mocha head. In aroma, a smooth biscuit malt with grassy hops. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with floral hops, orange pulp, light alcohol, a bit of treacle. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 10 2012.

I want to find some way to back off the high score I’m giving this beer, to appear more critical and therefore much cooler, but damned if I can find fault. Not the best IPA ever, but an amazing one nonetheless, with a huge citrus and floral nose that drips grapefruit rind and weed. The taste follows along the same lines, yet never delves into IBU-dripping cruelty, rather allowing the nicer, friendlier side of the hops to show. The finish is clean and citric, with an underlying graininess that solidifies things all around. Wonderful IPA.

35,5cl bottle at The Black Sheep in Dublin. Pours almost clear orange with a nice off-white head. Very fruity aroma with passionfruit, peach, malt and pine. Sweet and fruity with a nice bitterness. Very well balanced and the alcohol is very well intregrated. Long hoppy and fruity finish with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Excellent IPA. Fruity, refreshing and delicious (2012-06-12)

Bottle and can. Clear golden body with a white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of pine, grass, honey and subtle mango notes. Flavour is very hoppy and resinous with a sweet caramel undertone. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A solid, hoppy IPA.

Weird that I needed to go to Ireland to be able to try something from Colorado, but weird or not, this was a nice surprise. Poured a dark yellow to amber, lighter than most IPA’s. Aroma is pure citrus and floral hops, a little grapefruit, not much though. Taste follows the aroma with just enough caramel malt foundation to not make it a palate wrecker. Good IPA

Bottled 355ml. -Sampled nearly 5 months after BBE date. Nice misty orange coloured, medium sized off-white head that went away slowly, strong and pleasant fruity hoppy nose. Sweet malty, grapefruity hoppy and caramel taste with rather dry hoppy finish. IPA by the book. Enjoyable.

355ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with small lacing white head. Deep fruity aroma, pineapple and citrus, plus an earthy, somewhat unfresh hop component. Taste starts with mildly sweet fruit, pineapple again, holds the fruit component for a long time and leads to a dry but not really bitter finish. A bit flagging on the hop side.
