Tap at orsted olbar clear golden smooth offwhite head flowery slightly exotic fruity and herbal aroma flavor Is very bitter hoppy ,quite dry also low on malts. The bitterness is sort of like an English bitter only more herbal.

12 oz bottle, bottled 9/25/13. Pours a completely hazed deep golden with tons of chunky debris; white head. Citrusy aroma. Iced tea, grassy hop flavor, lighter notes of citrus and pale malt. Not so great at this age.

Keg at the Rake - Borough Market, London. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a slight, creamy cap. Kind of a shabby beer overall, but I would suspect this beer isn’t as fresh as it ought to be. I get notes of dusty pine, dry caramel and bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Further dusty pine to finish with notes of dry bread and tangerine rind. Meh.

Keg at the Rake, Borough Market, 21/12/13. Hazed orange amber with a thin off white covering that dissipates edgeward. Nose is bitter hops, orange, caramel malts, straw. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange pith, light grapefruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Ok, entry level kind of IPA.

Keg at Jake’s Place. Hazy golden body with a medium white head that holds well. Very light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Big hoppy aroma of pine, caramel and peach. Flavour is very bitter and woody, with a hint of blood orange. Slightly peppery finish. Full body with a thick, oily texture. Soft carbonation. Just my type of IPA - bold and bitter with a lovely full mouthfeel. If I was being extremely picky, it could do with a touch more citric sharpness. As it is, though, this is delicious.
