Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is floral, fruity hops. Flavor is well hopped with a dry malty backbone. Finish leaves a nice hop resin on the tongue. A solid IPA.

One-third-pint, poured from keg at Jake’s Place. Patchy layer at the surface of a deep golden coloured body. Fair lacing down the glass. Modest aroma of grass and pumpkin. Flavours of grapefruit, pumpkin and semi-sweet malts. Dry bitter ending. Nice, a bit heavy to drink though (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

Rake. Keg. Almost clear gold beer. Little white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with minerally carbonation. Surprisingly creamy start, but it’s not a luxuriant malt cream, rather a burst of sweet cream! Dry bitter starfruit and pithy grapefruit. Finishes dry with a bitter peel linger. A beer of two halves. Sweet to pretty bitter,

Bottle at Dean’s Birthday Tasting, August 2013. Poured a clear light amber with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is grassy nettle hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter, with lots of chewy malt, liqourice and alcohol on the surprisingly smooth palate. The bitterness lingers for a while in the palate.

355ml bottle. Clear orangy golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Cautious piney, resinous hoppy aroma, caramel malty background. Taste is minimally biting bitter hoppy,, slightly piney, a touch of grapefruit, minimally to moderately sweet caramel malty basis. Flawless, but well-behaved, innocuous, and filtered IPA.
