330mml. bottle. @home. 22/07/2019. Orange colour with a perfect white head. Impressive appearance. Aroma is fresh tropical, citrusy and zesty. Taste is medium tropical and citrusy, leading to a medium bitter finish. Resinous. Balanced. Well done. Next one please!

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Gialla torbida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera. Naso tropicale, tanta frutta gialla, ananas, melone bianco, note erbacee. In bocca è fruttata, dolce all'attacco con chiusura amara media. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ok.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma, citrus and tropical fruit, light resin, caramel notes, medium bitter. Mediim body, thin texture, hoppy bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with Max. Fantastic aroma, hoppy, tropical fruit, juicy, nice dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. A classic.

Hazy amber. Aroma is a little resin orange sticky toffee other tropic fruit. Not too much. Taste is juicy fruity with a little bitter bready and resinous hops. Hints of alcohol later. Medium rounded. Almost full bodied. Good.

Reservoir Dogs' take at NEIPA, also existing in a sour version (Sour Sister) which I didn't care for too much. This one showed a rather loose and bubbly, irregular, off-white head and a misty apricot blonde robe with amberish tinge, so looking roughly the same as Sour Sister. Aroma, however, was luckily more attractive: orange juice, moldy grapefruit, ripe papaja, fried onions, toasted garlic, wet peanuts, withering leek. Sweet onset, tropical papaja, persimmon, orange and guava notes but not overwhelmingly so, softish carb, smooth and soft, fluffy mouthfeel. Biscuity and sweetbready malt base soaked in aromatic hoppiness, very oniony, lots of moldy old citrus peel, overripe papaja, with a powdery, oily bitterness lingering on the root of the tongue. A bit much so even for a NEIPA, for which it comes across as a tad too 'dank' as well; very oniony and spicy, this is in fact closer to East Coast IPA than to New England IPA. That said, pleasant and highly drinkable for sure. Once again I owe Davor a debt of gratitude for prodiving me with all these Slovenian craft beers!

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, citrusy hoppy nose. Moderate malty, citrusy, light herbal and fruity with moderate bitterness in the finish. Pleasant one.

Pours quite hazy, though not completely, orange-golden and topped with short lived foamy white head. Very pleasant fruity aroma, combination of tropical notes (mango, pineapple and passionfruit) and gentler citruses (grapefruit). Gently sweet fruity start, more citruses. Balanced by gentler bitterness and lasting aftertaste. Lighter body and fresh character. Perhaps not completely in NEIPA style, but damn nice, just the way I like them.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, pineapple, biscuit and resin. Pours hazy dark golden color with thin creamy off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, follows by citrus and tropical fruit, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is pleasantly bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Juicy sister...
