33 cl. can @ home, gift from Luc. Hazy light golden with a white head. Flowery hop aroma with some white pepper. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Chili is pleasantly present but as I like spicy it might be too much for some. Nice and unusual pilsener.

Tap at Crafty Corner, Lisbon, with Matthijs, 31st October 23. Pours a clear Pilsner, aroma has grass, pepper and yeast. Taste is straw, yeast and quite a bit of chilli, it’s decent and fun

Chilsner strikes back! Nagu nimi ütleb: pilku piri piriga... Kui impyd (a'la mexican cake) välja jätta, siis mulle tšilli õlles üldiselt ei istu. See ei ole erand. Ps: pildil idee mida teha tühjade key kegidega...

Consistency is a bit oily. The piri-piri taste is there. Pretty smooth pilsner. Doesn’t have this stiff taste that a Pilsner Urquell may have.

Draught, half pint. @«Artbeerfest 2019», Caminha (Portugal). 12/07/2019. Light copper colour with a medium white head. Aroma is peppery, earthy hops and soft caramelized malts. Taste is malty in the begining leading to an intense hot peppery finish. Spicy aftertaste. Next one please!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/5D). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 214P (BBF 04/2019). AROMA: medium-low malt aroma with a grainy caracter, followed by medium crel husk notes. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium-large white head with average retention. TASTE: medium cereal husk flavor, followed by low fruitiness (orange-like) and slight yeast. medium-low bitterness with a overly hot and dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. overly hot from piri-piri. tanninic astringency present. OVERALL: a pilsner a bit too hot from the peppers, rendering it a bit unbalanced and also with a presence of cereal husk.
