Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.

Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Thick murky pour of brown with a decidedly red tinge to it, accompanied by the expected pink head. Falls quickly. Fantastic aroma of fresh raspberries. The flavor is that of more raspberries.

750ml bottle: Deep red/purple body with a light purple-tinged head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is almost all raspberry, as you might suspect if you’ve had New Glarus Belgian Red. There are some notes of bready malts to remind you very subtlely that this is a beer and not fruit juice. The flavor is heavily sweet and heavily tart. Lots of acidity. The medium body has a sticky, dry, tart finish. Enjoyable, but a little goes a long way.

Bottled (thanks Ruth!). Dark murky red colour with mediumsized pink head. Aroma is nice raspberries with some slight sourness. Flavour is sour raspberries along with some vanilla. Very mouthdrying. Some slight nutty hints in the finish. Really nicely done sour fruitbeer.

Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Deep red color with a average, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light red head. Aroma is moderate to heavy raspberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic, with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottle Chris_o Shindig. Nice pippy raspberry aroma. Bit of mustiness, but lovely fruit, lots of sour raspberry. That’s pretty good. Good jammy beer. Sweet and sickly after a while maybe.

Thin purplish head. Purple haze body. Intense raspberry aroma with blackberry notes. No beating about the bush here. Raspberry. And lots of it. Pure fruit aroma, nothing else. Intense sharp raspberry taste with, again, notes of blackberry. Kind of tart, unsurprisingly. Aftertaste is the same. Excellent! (0.65l bottle from MartinT.)

Muddy red with a light red head. Raspberry juice aroma, fresh and very natural, with the tiniest hints of funk along with caramel and toffee, almost creme brulee like. Flavour is of sweet raspberry and it is slightly tart (surprise!). A very pleasant drink, extremely drinkable despite the thickness, and cleaning the palate in a wonderful way.

750ml Bottle pours out a dark red topped with a light pink head. A nice aroma of berries. Great tast with some very nice tart at the end pretty good stuff. Not as good as the cherry but still good. Thanks Footbalm for this one.

Pour is a nice bright red with a pink head. Aroma is outstanding. No need bringing the glass to your nose you can smell the raspberrys from across the room. Flavor is of course more raspberrys with a super sweet-tart pucker. Super fresh tasting fruit beer.

Bottle; Nose of raspberries, raspberries, and raspberry jam on toast; dark berry colored with a small off white head; Flavor of sweet raspberries wit a bit of tartness; seems as though I should pour it on toast and eat it!
