Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.

Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Bottle: Raspberry takes over your senses as soon as the bottle is opened. Strong aroma of the purest, thickest raspberry smell you can imagine. Pours a deep red with a modest pink head. The taste is pure raspberry fruitiness with a deep sweet and tartness. Like a raspberry syrup for waffles. Nice pucker sensation in the tail. A great beer - Thanks IndianaRed for sharing.

25.4 oz bottle purchased in March of 2008 at Chicones in Hudson, Wisconsin. Looking forward to the re-rate on this one. Pour is hazy pinkish red with a 1 inch pink head. Nice lacing. Very pretty in the glass. Aroma is amazingly like fresh raspberries. Really good, high quality, raspberries. Sweet, tart, everything a raspberry should be. Taste is even more amazingly raspberry. This is the most similar to the actual fruit beverage I have ever consumed. Remarkable. As it warms a bit in the glass, you can get the faintest hint of the yeast, really the only indication this is not just raspberry juice. Palate is full and mouth coating. This was good, and outstandingly well made. I really wish I would have had some vanilla ice cream or choclate cake with this. I will use this new rating. 8,5,7,4,15 (3.9).

I poured this at GABF 06 and it appeared to be the 2nd most popular sample at the show (Behind NG Belgian Red). A bit over the top tart, even for a Raspberry beer. 7,5,7,3,15 (3.7).

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours copletely opaque dark red - actually it looks like freshly squeezed berry juice - with a tiny, reddish head. Tart and very fresh raspberry aroma. Rather light body with a high acidity and very fresh berry accents. No bitterness and no feel of alcohol either. As said - you could mistake this for being freshly squeezed raspberry juice. 170306

Red-amber color; small creamy head. Tart and creamy aroma, some fruits. Sweet fruity (cherry and strawberry) flavor, low sourness level. Balanced final. Very pleasant.

Muddy dark scarlet color; thick pink head. Strong fruity pungent aroma. Good body strength, fruity, sweet, with an incredibly aggressive late sourness, astringent. Strange, good.

Nice bordeau red beer with cherry head. Fresh raspberry jam aroma, like a fresh pie. Sweet fresh raspberries in mouth, lightly tart, rich and tingly. Wonderful body of tingly wine. Rich! More! Mondial 2005.

Bottle: Poured a deep red color fruit beer with a nice bubbly pink head with minimal retention. Aroma of fresh sweet raspberries is just incredible and I could spend days just sniffing in my glass. Taste consisted of sweet fresh raspberry (not the chemical syrupy raspberry that are commonly used in fruit beers), slight tartness and a light acidic finish. It’s a shame that I cannot obtain this beer more regularly over here.

Sweet natural raspberry aroma. Dark red, low foamy head. Very nice balance between a big berry flavor and with a proper lactic counterpoint. Prickling, dry mouthfeel. Swet exit - very nice good desert

Thanks to footbalm for this bottle (among many wonderful others). Great pour to it, thick, deep red raspberry appearance, unfiltered, with a small creamy beige-white head. Aroma of succulent sweet raspberries, pulpy, juicy and fresh. Flavor is tremendously full of raspberries. Like fresh raspberry jam, juice and whole berries. Sugary, thick and nearly full bodied. In the middle you get a bit of fruity acid notes, and some lactic notes, providing an ever so brief amount of relief from the heavy sweetness, and the finish shows some light wheat notes, more in texture than actual flavor. Very easy to compare to Lindemans, yet I found the underlying lambic qualities to be much fewer and farther between in this brew. There was a decent carbonation, a bit of yeast notes here and there, but overall, it was just pure fatiguing raspberry. Way too sweet and one-dimensional. I was really hoping for more beer quality in this and less fruit dominance.

750mlBottle Pours a deep cloudy crimson with a thick pale pink head that is maintained in the slender flute. Aroma is like raspberry jam or pancake syrup. Almost too strong. Very sweet with a bit of woody oak. First impression is the tart, dry very bold ras flavor. A quite sharp astringent tang, as the flavor fades. The long term finish quickly dissipates with not much of a reminder of what just happened. The ABV is nearly imperceptable and the dry finish is clean with a hint of he oak barrels trying to hang on. As it warms a bit the acidity and the oak comes through more. Excellent, and even though it tastes so good, my impuls is to slug it down, I try my best to savor every sip....was that realy 750ccs?.. Thanks to MrFacto for the trade !

Bottled. Dark red. Ripe raspberry aroma. Balsamic, but overly sweet. Pleasant rounded mouthfeel and peppery sugary finish. Beatiful flavourwise, but way too sweet.
