Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

Bottle @ ZZT X shared by kermis. Hazy reddish color, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly sourish, red fruit, lemonade. Taste sourish and sweetish red fruits, syropy. Hard to describe. Not bad but not really my thing.

Bottle shared at ZZT 10. Pours hazy red with an off white head. Aroma of raspberries and sweet red fruit, a touch of apple. Flavour is moderate sweet and acidic. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Decent, but too much sweetness.

I thought I’d had good raspberry beers before. Apparently I haven’t. Near perfectly executed. Ruby pour with good head and lacing. Light touch of bitterness from the raspberry seeds. Tart and sweet. Wonderful. Bottle.

Poured from a bottle at a bottle share in DC. It is a red raspberry red color with a slight head. The aroma is raspberry and the taste is a sweet fresh picked berry flavor that has both a sweet and sour taste

Sample at Ale Alpharetta. Pours a hazy reddish-brown, with practically no head. The aroma is overwhelmingly raspberries. I struggle to come up with any other way to describe the aroma, except maybe some light caramel and wheat in the background. Heavy, fruity sweetness, and nicely tart. Medium body, sticky, sharp, and acidic. This is the way fruit beers should be done!

Bottle is probably 3 - 4 years old. Aroma is dominated by a raspberry jam character. Some light malt character in the background supporting the jam notes. Some light tartness. Pours a murky, copper-brown with some amber hues and a medium sized, tan head of medium light thickness. Recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit before disappearing. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor starts with a fairly strong sweetness and a moderate raspberry jam character. Like the aroma there is a medium light pale malt and faint chocolate background character. Faint bitterness with some light tartness. Really tastes a lot like liquid jam. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a very sweet, jammy beer with tons of raspberry flavor and aroma. Light malt background notes and faint tartness. A beer for non beer people.
