A black strong lager marked by coffee and liquorice notes provided by the coupage of four malts. Brewed by Hijos de Rivera’s Brewmasters in the only Company’s brewery placed in A Coruña, using our traditional methods: best ingredients, long maturing time, passion for the excellence. The coupage of four traditionally floor malted Check barley malts is the base of this beer’s character.
Black color, with copper and ruby shades. Roasted aromas reminiscent of malts and coffee. Intense and lasting bitter character combined with subtle liquorice and cocoa notes in the background.

330ml bottle from The Rex Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, burnt treacle. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, smoky, treacle, light red berry fruit, toffee, light vanilla palate.
Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle enjoyed outside at Cerveceria El Bribón. Deep dark brown body, bubbles on the surface, dissipating beige head. Slightly roasted aromas, hints of earth and bread. Malt-driven flavours, moments of earthy caramel. Roasted ending with a distant touch of sulfur. Fine depth. Satisfying. (Almuñécar 08.03.2020).

From bottle to chalice in Barcelona. Aroma is restrained chocolate and slight ash. Clear brown with amber highlights and a light tan head that fades to a dense collar with a whisping across the top. Flavor is a bitter harsh ash, with bitterness at the end. A little off generally.

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Pull-off cap! Dark red colour, medium-sized brownish head. Burned malty, cardboardish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Dark bread flavour, some caramel, odd burning sensation in the finish. Industrial vibe. East European style dark lager.
