A black strong lager marked by coffee and liquorice notes provided by the coupage of four malts. Brewed by Hijos de Rivera’s Brewmasters in the only Company’s brewery placed in A Coruña, using our traditional methods: best ingredients, long maturing time, passion for the excellence. The coupage of four traditionally floor malted Check barley malts is the base of this beer’s character.

Black color, with copper and ruby shades. Roasted aromas reminiscent of malts and coffee. Intense and lasting bitter character combined with subtle liquorice and cocoa notes in the background.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Rich, malty nose with a faint roast. Solid body with plenty of dark malts, slight roast and licorice notes. Some roasty bitterness with the booze being a little prominent in the finish. Closer to a Doppelbock. 070324

Ovo je probano u Brix baru. Piva vrste Bock. :-) 7.2% alk. Zbilja snažna piva, malo slatkasto, malo gorko, OK.

Bottled 330ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, toffee, discreet roasty and rather dry finish.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky brown pour, no head, no lacing. Sweet and roasty nose, caramel, light smoke, wood notes in the background. Medium body, lively carbonation. Nice mouthfeel and texture, lively, fizzy, slightly sticky. Roasty bittersweet taste, nicely balanced. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, cocoa. Mild chocolate notes, wood, light smoke. Hints of coffee. Mild alcohol presence, slightly drying. Sugary sweet notes in the background, mild. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering roasty bitterness. Solid.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is toast, some roast and mild wooden tones. Flavour is toast, roast, mild vanilla and some toasted toffee and caramel.

Bottle 33cl. from a Pingo Doce supermarket, Setubal @Olivera de Sao Felipe poured into a shaker. Clear dark brown colour with a light ruby hue, good frothy beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, dark bread, light molasses. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, some roast, caramel, hint of dark fruit. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, bit sticky sweetbitter aftertaste, some roast remains, nice.

Ok this is kinda murky, light brown. Has a cocoa powder sort of thin aroma. Solid sweetness, not super complex. Ok
