Wittekerke Wit is easy to recognize by the elegant glass it is served in, its sunny colour and creamy foam head. The taste is nicely rounded with a well-defined herbal bitterness. The late famous beer expert Michael Jackson described Wittekerke Wit as creamy, aromatic, with a clean, teasing, perfumed fruitiness and a faintly herbal tartness.

300 ml bottle. Yellowish head, very fruity aroma, comes to think of coriander and lemon. Quite refreshing.

300 ml bottle. Dim, yellow/orange body with a dense white head. Aroma is a bit fruit acid, citric, lemon, spices and banana. Flavor is sweet & sour, banana, lemon and oranges. Medium body. Quite refreshing, but rather plain, there is a lot better wit beers around.

Bottle at ABC beer tasting. Poured a very pale yellow and was quite cloudy with a white head. Basic aroma, consisted of fruit and flora notes. Flavor was light and fruity with a consistent slight undertone of bitterness.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Cloudy pale gold thick white head. Wheaty aroma. Quite refreshing. Good cereal, lemon and hop in the mouth. Quite full and creamy. Decent wit, some soapyness develops. Good creamyness. Just a little stale flavour on the cereal.

Canned(330ml). -The only cold beer in Albert Heijn supermarket near my hostel in Amsterdam.
Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized airy white head, dusty lemony nose. Light wheaty, spicy and weak yeasty with lemony notes in the finish. Watery palate. Not so good witbier.

On tap. Pale hazy yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, yeast. Flavour is fresh at first, citrus, wheat and a bit sweet, but has a bit of a cardboard finish (skunky hops?).

aroma is okay but not outstanding, beer looks true to style, flavor is a little sweet i miss some sourness or citrus to balance, refreshing but boring.

11.2 oz can. Ultra hazy yellow-vanilla color with a steady, foamy head. Mild lemon peel and brewery aroma. On the vanilla creamy side of a Wit, as opposed to the ones dominated by citrus or spice. Deliciously refreshing, with a nice yeasty taste with some faint lemony wheat earthiness in the background. An extremely enjoyable beer.
