Basic Coffee is a continuation of the Regular Coffee game. A simpler version of our golden coffee cream ale has been finished with espresso roasted blend of Sumatran, Columbian and Ethiopian beans, and a spicing of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, vanilla beans, cardamom, mace and orange zest. Much like Regular Coffee looks to evoke an amusing version of the acidic bitter coffee curbed by milk and sugar that starts a day in a paper cup, Basic Coffee plays to that twenty ouncer that tags along on a lazy Autumn morning, when sweats and slip-ons really are the only clothes. Drink Basic Coffee because you make fun of #PSL even though you luuurve #PSL

16 oz can from Joe Canal's, 10/20/19. Journey began 10/2/19 according to the bottom of the can. Mostly clear orange color, thin and sheeting white head. Strong lace. Clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, some sweetened coffee, and a bit of herbal flavor as well. Pretty tasty. In the same flavor range as a your pumpkin porters, but at the same time pretty damn unique. Yeah, this is good.

On tap at Tavern on the Lake in Hightstown, NJ. Clear golden color. No head at all. Sweet, spicy coffee nose. Flavor is sweet malt, coffee, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and vanilla. Light carbonation. Warming alcohol. Sweet orange notes in finish.
