Based on AB04, but with added vanilla, 3.5 times the chilli, and a different coffee.

Opaque black with a non lasting weakish dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee seeds and chilli. Taste starts sweet malt and chocolate, pepper comes into play, bit of licorice, cocoa powder, bitter dry coffee active in the finish along with some alcohol. Full bodied and thick. Alcohol heat and chilli pepper leave a very warm bite in the back of the throat for a long aftertaste.

Brewdog Dog B (thanks Mario!). Poured a murky brown body. Heavy malt aroma, vague, solid raisins, sweet.... Taste... Dry raisins, just a touch hot from, presumably the pepeers... dry, vaguely bitter. Not great. Definitely not great. 6/3/6/4/14Brewdog Dog C. Fuck... I would not have went for it if I knew they were all aliases. But still... Raisins, malt, bubblegum, fresh.... Heavy malty aroma, raisins, earthy, jammy. roasty. Just a touch too warm, slightly too aggressive alcohol and maybe earthiness. Better than B. 8/3/7/3/14

330ml bottle, bottled 17-06-2013. Pitch black appearance with a touch of amber. Small tan head that quickly becomes a ring. Aroma of booze, vanilla, chocolate and liquorice. Dark fruit esters, coffee as well. Taste is rich, chocolate (but not too bitter chocolate), more booze, and a very pleasant chili catch. Finish is warming. Carbonation level and the chili balance is perfect, the booze is a bit too strong. Still an excellent brew. Decanted this becomes more balanced, the alcohol becomes less irritating.

330ml bottle, Dog A, at home. Black color with nice brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruits, raisins, light vanilla and alcohol. Taste is sweet and bitter, like the aroma, sweet chocolate, bitter dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits at the finish, the alcohol is very well hidden. Medium to full, silky almost creamy body with soft carbonation, sweet and bitter chocolate and coffee aftertaste.

Bottle (gift, likely from the BD online shop) drunk at home. Black with the tiniest sliver of light coming through. No head and precious little visible carbonation. Vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, burnt toast, liquorice, woodsmoke, and alcohol. Lots and lots and lots of alcohol in the aroma. Taste is wonderful but almost too alcoholic: a bitter astringent chilli hit abated by soothing warm bittersweet chocolate. Long bittersweet finish. Intense, complex and moreish.

Bottle as *Dog C* picked up from the Brewdog online store, shared at home with dad Friday 7th November 2014 Another black as yerβ hat beer. But this is quite a different proposition to the others weβve had tonight. Lots of chocolate, in fact I would go as far as saying its a bit sweet in mouth. Some chilli also noted and a lick of vanilla, not much but its there all the same. Going back to the appearance its also got a nice beige head. A little burnt bitter toffee, dark sticky fruits and bitter cocoa complete the jigsaw, good but no world beater. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Dark brown color, tiny off-white head. Alcohol, dark malts, rye, whiskey in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Burning alcohol, sticky mouthfeel. Dark malts, cyrup, cough syrup, some salt licorice. Way too alcoholic stuff.
