Carefree is a thicker, bolder version of our original Barrel Aged Beer, Who Hit John. This time we took extra care to get a thicker, bolder body while maintaining the chocolate rye backbone. Aged in one of our favorite mead barrels, Safeword by Superstition Meadery, this beer is laced with decadent fruit and honey to bring home our most unique barrel aged beer to date.

12oz bottle pours with a deep dark body and only a thin tan ring of bubbles. The aroma offers up chocolate fudge, blueberry muffin, marshmallow, thin vanilla and then faint booze. The taste delivers smooth fairly rich chocolate fudge, molasses sweetened dark roasted malts, blueberry muffin and then mild sweet vanilla and smooth booze. This is hitting on all cylinders. Great sipper.

Bottle - pours dark brown - nose and taste of honey, chocolate, oak - medium/full bodied.
