Anniversary Release announcement Number 2! Hiding amongst our Barrels yet seldom seen until now is our newest Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout: Bourbon Legend! Starting with Urban Legend as our base, a 13.5% RIS brewed with Oats, Rye, a blend of dark malts, and loads of fresh Maple Syrup from Red Leaf Hollow Farms, then aged in Bourbon Barrels for 8 months, the result is a Roasted sweet Stout rich with maple syrup and a full-bodied bourbon backbone!

Bottle. Pours black with medium beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, licorice, cocoa, wood. Medium body, roast, dark chocolate, rye, licorice, boozy, dry finish, very good.

On tap at As Is. Pours black. Chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, fennel. Medium body. Decent. Would not have guessed the strength.

As Is on draught: pours blackish with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, roasty malt. Taste is sweet, whiskey. Lightly bitter. Smooth. Booze is well covered.
