Produced through symbiotic relationship with a small wasp, the fig may be teh first known instance of agriculture. Subfossil Figs found in the Neolithic Village Of Gilgal I predate the domestication of Wheat, Barley, and Legumes. This makes the Fig an ideal complement to mead, the mother of all fermented beverages.
