This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, rich cocoa, chocolate cake, mocha, touch of liquorice, and lots of creamy coffee in the aftertaste. Flavour is medium sweet with some good roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is full, smooth and a bit creamy. Pretty easy drinker considering the abv. Fine balance, excellent Imperial Stout!

Actually slightly disappointing. Just not that much to it, relatively not robust, has a nice smoke touch but not extraordinary. Beertemple ams

Thin tan head left a collar on a mahogany coloured still body. Malt & raisin aroma. Aniseed, caramel, roasted & nutty tastes with a tangy finish. Nice one.

(Bottle) Black colour with dense, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, black coffee, black rye bread, prunes and rum raisins. Roasted, malty taste with liquorice, dark chocolate, espresso, black rye bread, prunes, raisins and a generous roasty bitterness in a slightly vinous finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Thick, rich and very tasty with lots of flavours. Still in really good balance. Great beer.
