Courtesy of Lore. Black body, tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cocoa and floral hops. Taste of cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, whiskey and oak. Fantastic imperial stout.

almost black colour, surprisingly large and stable, though not that dense brown head; aroma of coffee, ash, woody and chocolate notes, some soy sauce and herbs; taste of heavy roasted coffee, herbal liqueur, dark chocolate - very darok one! well, not an overcomplicated imperial stout with an orgy of numerous aromas and extremely complex taste, but still a masterpiece!

Color y aspecto tipicos, negra opaca y abundante espuma marron. Tremendo aroma A café con notas de chocolate. En boca resulta tremenda, muy muy amarga, llena la boca de chocolate y café . FInal muy amargo, y gran cuerpo. Tono general seco y licórico, fuerte.

Bottle. Aw yiss, what a beer! Lots of roast and coffee, but little in sweetness. This beer doesn’t need it though, it is smooth and dark and damn tasty. Bitter liquorice.

75cl, kerstavond 2015, schenkt stroperig zwart met schuimige bruine kraag. aroma van mout, zoet, chocolade, koffie, gebrande en geroosterde mout. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, redelijk bitter, zeer sterk, geroosterde- en gebrande mouten, chocolade, laurier, melkchocolade, zoetig, alcoholisch, caramel. volle body, romig en glad van textuur, lage co2, lange bittere afdronk. niet de top stout die ik had gehoopt dat hij zou zijn, maar ook zeker niet slecht. --- Beer merged from original tick of Serpent's Stout on 18 May 2018 at 09:18 - Score: 8

750ml bottle shared with ippopotamo36, Ryan and Justin Hawke. Pours deep brown/black with a medium cappuccino head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and licorice. Flavour is perfectly balanced, medium to light sweet with a good bitter end, outstanding! Full body, medium carbonation. A great beer!
