The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpent’s Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with.
This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Bottle at a tasting. Very rich and full mouthfeel. Lots of roasted malts, chocolate, loads of caramel, coffee. Dried fruits. Balanced caramelly sweetness and roasted bitterness. Delicious.

0,75l bottle shared by me and Simay at Bratislava RB Tasting. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells roast, coffee, vanilla, light licorice, light ash, light smoke, nettle. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of roast, vanilla, earthy, herbs, ash, coffee, nettle, light chili. Finishes herbs, light ash and earthy. Good stuff, usually I m not a sucker for vanilla beers, but this one has a nice balance and is quite nice

750 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister at Bratislava Tasting, many thanks!
Black body, with a big, creamy, coffee colored head.
Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, cocoa, liquorice, wood, caramel, some dark fruits.
Taste follows this, with some alcohol burn.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, dry, with liquorice, coffee, wood, some cocoa, some alcohol warmth.
Really tasty. Straight, dry, roasty and pleasantly warming. Not among my favourite Imperial Stouts, but a really pleasant sipper nonetheless, great example of a pure Imperial Stout.
