Molson Brewmasters have created a new standard in smoothness with Molson Golden. Each batch is brewed with pure spring water and features a unique two part hopping procedure. Galena hop essences are added in the brewing kettle, followed by the addition of a patented, mild hop after fermentation.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention. Slight bread aromas. Sharp and flowery malt upfront but fairly bland. Lasting slightly sour grassy hop finish.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a large white head. The aroma was sour, tangy and moderately skunky. The flavor was dryish and tangy with notes of corn and sugar and only the faintest hint of hops. The finish was medium length tangy and vaguely skunky. Thin and overcarbonated. Not a whole lot going on. Sad. ANY BREWER WHO CONSENTS TO PUTTING THE BEER IN A GREEN BOTTLE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM EVER BREWING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12 oz. bottle. Dark golden wih a small, fizzy head. Aroma is major skunk with some grass and grain. Very grassy and corny taste. Notice the description says hop ESSENCES are added... not actual hops. Medium bodied.

bottle - Pours clear yellow with a big, quickly fading head. The aroma is light, grainy malt and a bit of hops. The flavor is malt and corn and does have some hops bitterness, but unfortunately itβs not good hops. It strikes me as a little skunky and is simply not an enjoyable taste. The body is light as expected and manages to avoid being very watery. The finish is mildly bitter and dry and again not bitter in a quality hops way. Iβve had worse.

Well, I drank this out of the bottle because it is well... Molson. Opened it and the head smelled mad skunky. It was pretty much Heiniken. Definately above the average macro, but nothing great. I am very willing to call this a legitimate beer. Eh...

Molson golden, if you never had it before itβs probably conjuring up images of beautiful golden beer in a big clear stein with dew running down the side. Oh the anticipation. Previously I didnβt think much about the different kinds of Molson, just that they were Molson. Green bottle with a twist off cap. Pop the lid and it is hints of skunk vegetable in the festidness. Aroma remains contending; Date code on the bottle is 1786, aged well. modern yeast smell coming thru in the pour. Typical pale yellow american beer color. Had a white head that faded rapidly. Now I see medium size bubbles randomly rising in there but it is nothing near lacing. First tongue nip is medium hops, but not truly bitter. Seems to have a higher alky percent from the taste. Every time you taste or sip a little wave of bubble rise to the top, has nice carbonation feel in the mouth. A very courteous flavor that is not in your face but has some personality that makes this itβs own beer. None of the skunkness seem to be passed on to the taste buds. Finish does have some attenuated roof of mouth bitterness that hangs on for a few moments after the last sip. Enjoyable and repeatable but I think Canadian may be in-advance, better. Good carbonation down to the last sip.

Bottle. Another pale lager, but quite a bit better than most macros of this variety. Had it a while ago, but forgot to rate it until now.
