Goodbye bitterness, so long fullness, hello happiness. Country Club Malt Liquor remains the smooth, non-filling and refreshing Malt Liquor it was back in 1951 when it first began.

12 ounce can from... Pale yellow color with a large head that doesn’t stick around. Poor retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet grains and corn. Medium bodied, Taste is the same. Nothing to see here, move along.

Qt. bottle. Light aroma of pale malt and alcohol. Brassy gold color with a decent white head that laced slightly. Thin body; moderate carbonation. The flavor is sweet malt, zero bitter. It is not sickenly alcoholic, not stirring nausea. May be one of the less obnoxious malt liquors. Hard for me to drink decades ago; no point for me to drink today. D.P. Not cause it’s all that bad, it’s just not worth the brain cell loss and calory gain.

This malt liquor is about as clear as silver thunder. It smells like an ashtray that was dipped in gasoline then set outside for a little bit. The taste is not real improvement over the smell. It simply tastes of alcohol and cheap crappiness and crappy cheapness. Ultimately, it is not the worst beer out there... I guess it is drinkable if you care to look through every cheap-o beerstore... whoo 200 ratings.
