Bottled. A hazy amber beer eith a thin beige head. The aorma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel - and so is the flavor. A bit boring.

Amber color. Some malt flavor, light residual sweetness. Correct hopping. Too simple.

Bottle at the Brickskeller in DC. Poured golden yellow, nice white head. Honestly it reminded me a bit of other Magic Hat beers, but I felt this one was as good as the rest.

Drank this beer straight out the bottle. Nice and bitter, but not too much so. It was relatively smooth and had a nice tingling in the mouth. Nothing too special, but really there was nothing bad about this beer to speak of. Not as interesting as some other Magic Hat beers, but pretty good never the less.

Draught pint at PJ Ryan’s on 8/4/06.
Filtered, pasteurized, kegged, highly pressurized. It has the usual, quick-to-recede white head, no lacing. Golden-to-light-amber in the body.
Fruity, citric, dry hops. Paperiness, cardboard, nuttiness, some acid in the background. Grainy, bare, pale malts. No substance to the aroma.
Fruity, dry, stale, weak, loose, flimsy, not-complex, dead, dull flavor/texture. Nothing really here, don’t even know what to say. No alcohol apparency.
Couldnt even drink half of it.

Brown bottle, 3/4 of a pint, thanks to Ian; eye: amber with golden-yellowish reflections, nice off-white head that disappears rather quickly, no effervescence; nose: hops, a hint of caramel, some spices, humid earth; mouth: bitterness followed by malt rapidly wrapped by caramel, reapperance of bitterness with a hint of it, sweet finale of caramel, lightly sweet, midly bitter, a bit of tartness that appears and starts to dominate the beer as it warms up, light to medium body, rather thin texture, nice carbonation; overall : ordinary FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 3/4 d’une pinte, merci à Ian; oeil : ambrée avec des reflets jaunâtres, belle mousse blanc cassé qui s’affaise assez rapidement, pas d’effervescence, dentelle; nez : houblon, une pointe de caramel, un peu d’épices, terre humide; bouche : amertume, malt rapidement enveloppé par du caramel, réappartion de l’amertume avec une petite pointe, finale douce de malt caramélisé, légèrement sucrée, moyennement amère, un petit côté aigrelet qui apparaît et qui commence à dominer la bière alors que la bière se réchauffe, corps léger à moyen, texture plutôt mince, bonne carbonatation; en résumé : ordinaire

Yellow color with a rocky white head that quickly dimishes with pretty decent lacing. Aroma of grain and a matching taste.

I have not been particularly fond of any of the beers I have had from this brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a copper color with a large yellow-tan head. The aroma is sour malts. The flavor is light sour malts with a vague floral hop undertone. There is a light nutty element. The finish is vaguely hoppy.

Cloudy goldish, smallish head. Weak aroma, some ringwoody notes of buttered caramel. Touches of spicy hop. Flavor gets more spicy hop notes, slightly cleaner than the aroma. Clean, mild finish.

Bottle: Poured an amber looking ale with a nice huge head with good retention. Aroma is quite hoppy and some sweetness can be detected. Taste is quite sweet at first and includes a lot of malt with a medium dry finish. A bit of citrus taste (orange) is also included in here - orange This tastes more like an APA then English Pale Ale; anyway it is enjoyable but nothing to write home about.
