Bottle: Poured an amber looking ale with a nice huge head with good retention. Aroma is quite hoppy and some sweetness can be detected. Taste is quite sweet at first and includes a lot of malt with a medium dry finish. A bit of citrus taste (orange) is also included in here - orange This tastes more like an APA then English Pale Ale; anyway it is enjoyable but nothing to write home about.

Bright copper pour, with impressive lacework - light but inviting aroma of citrus, mild hops and a hint of caramel - flavor is unspectacular but well-balanced - light hops up front, followed by some biscuity malts, which then lead to a slight bitter apricot flavor - medium-dry finish doesn’t leave much behind for you to remember the beer by - much better than I remember it being (I tried it once before I began rating beer), but I think I’ll pass on this in the future.

Deep hazy orange copper with a thin white head, Slight butterscotch nose with some hops. Sweet malts, some hops, little citrus, but some green apples. Nice, but I had better from the Hat.

This honey colored beer was hard to pour a big head from. What there is, doesn't last long. Some hop with apricot aroma. Smooth light-medium body with a flavor that is well hopped, but not overly so, with a short dry finish. Nicely done alternative to the aggressivly hopped APA's.

Thin looking beer with a light golden colour and a nice fluffy white head. A somewhat hoppy aroma, but just a mellow sweetness coming out of the glass. The taste is a good mix of malt and hops, but thats about it. The flavour lasts for about 3 seconds and fades away to nothing. I have disliked every Magic Hat beer i've ever had, and this one is no exception. Simply put...not a good beer by not a good brewery.
