Exhibiting a deep, chestnut color and malty aroma All Malt Dark Lager is a very inviting beer. Mildly malty, with little lingering sweetness to note, Dark Lager is surprisingly refreshing. This is beer as it was meant to be, firm and satisfying.

Draft from diamond. Nutty brown pour with reddish hilights. Not much head. Yeasty malty hoppy. Not that special.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and the flavor besides the caramel also have some roasted notes, leading to a dry end. Boring.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet roasted malt. The flavor is bitter, nutty and has a strong roasted malt presence. The roasted malt lingers on the tongue.

Hazy light brown body with a diminishing, smooth, off white head. Aroma is malt but lacks somewhat in intensity. The flavor is crisp with just enough malty balance to make this a decent brew. Still not at the top of the list of Dunkels however.
