Tap at Salon piva. Resemblant of spent coffee both in aroma and flavour, somewhat astringent. Also feels rather thin both in body and overall flavours, single dimensional.

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 500 ml. bottle sampled @ “Epic beer Tasting 2016”. Reddish dark brown, little tanned head. Nose is sweet vegetable plant charred syrup. Taste is chicory syrup with vegetable plants, sugar, herbal, sweet, coffee grounds. Taste is a bit better than the smell. This one made me think a bit of Guinness which is not a good thing for me. Don’t care about a stout having this much plant & vegetable syrup notes mixed with chicory. Expected more.

Medium cream head over greenish brown-black beer. Dry chocolate, liquorice, husks, dark green leaves. Sweet liquorice, but also plywood and cardboard in the flavour. At least medium bodied impression Far from bad, but not roasted enough for a stout. I would call it a strong(er) brown ale.

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer & Whiskey Festival, 2015. Black coffee colored with strong firm tan head. Strong roasty malts aroma. Roasy flavor overtaking the taste. Full body, bitter stout, just as I like it. I’ll give it more points for body and texture, although it is not among the best.
