Bottle. Pours a deep, somewhat cloudy, amber to ruby hue, with a slow to fade tan head. Some lace left behind on the glass. Aroma is highly malty with sticky toffee and a tinge of orange citrus hops, vanilla, and a little bit of an ashy or plastic note as well. Taste is quite grainy and a bit husky, some caramel and bittering hop. Not much of a hop profile, with very little flavor or aroma qualities coming through. Husky, bitter finish. Lively, large and somewhat harsh bubbles. Not that great of a hop profile, which leaves this as a pretty weak IPA.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours copper with a good beige head. Aromas of bready malt and floral mixed with pine and citrus. Medium plus body with creamy/frothy carbonation. Flavor burns with hop, and there is roasted malt backbone. For some reason the combo seems grapey. Finish is bitter. There’s a lot of hop, but its not harsh. Really quite a treat.

Bottle. Poured a color that reminded me of apple cider as well as the cloudiness. The head was a darkish off-white. Aroma is hoppy throughout, not much else though. Flavor begins hoppy but transitions in to an almost malty flavor. Not my type of IPA.

one of those IPA’s that gets lost on the shuffle, nothing too distinctive, not like #9 that you remember because of an unique flavor. gave it a try but wont be back again.

Bottle - thanks beerbill. A muddy orange color with a small beige head. Aroma is more malty than hoppy; some breadiness, caramel, citrus, and light florals. Dry florals and some lingering citrus. The breadiness of the nose is a light presence, but mostly a sharp floral hoppiness takes over. Kind of unrefined. Ehh, I’ve had better.

This beer is a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium thin and foamy off-white head that dminishes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Fruity hops aroma with traces of malt. Medium body with flavors of moderately bitter hops, citrus and lightly bready malt. The finish is hoppy and lingers for a bit. Overall this IPA is forgettable.

KK S5L3F3T4O6 Hoppish aroma. Some sediment on bottom, I think; or else it’s just some really active fine CO2. Initial taste is reasonably hoppish too. It’s a weird cutting almost lager kind of bitter hops. Somewhat sharp but yet not too strong on the taste buds. Weird label. Bitter hops assemble thru the session. Finish is lingering bitter bite that is blunt yet pardonable.

Bottle at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 03/09/2009. Slightly hazy orange amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Fruity caramel aroma with a slight metallic twang. Dry fruity and grassy hop flavor on a caramel background and more slight metallic notes. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Location: 12 oz Bottle from Gilly's, drank it 3/8/09.

Aroma: Hoppy and a little citrus
Appearance: Golden, orange color, thin cloudiness
Flavor: Decent beer, drinks like an American Pale more then an IPA I think
Overall Impression: You know what? This was better then I expected. It's a hoppy Pale, but it doesn't offer too much else.

Oh, hops! Pours a somewhat cloudy copper color with very fine carbonation. Almost no head. A bitter citrusy taste with a bitter finish. Got some bite to it, too. Certainly good. Props Magic Hat.
