On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. It pours a huge beige head over an clear, amber body. Fruity nose with syrupy sweetness and a nice hoppyness. Not much alcohol in the aroma, but it’s quite warming on the palate, with a fruit-syrupy sweetness, a generic fruityness and sufficient amounts of bitterness. Full body. Lasting finish with lots of sweetness, as well as fruits and bitterness. A really nice monster beer, not too intensely alcoholic either. 120511

Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours clear orange with a fine foam head. Big doughy caramel nose with sweet, ripe fruits and booze. Hugely sweet flavor with lots of alcohol present. It’s sticky and thick, with caramel, sugar syrup. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation, and incredibly syrupy. Warm finish with tons of sweet toffee, liquified and jammy fruits, caramel, some bread. Lots of sugar syrup, some Belgian candi. It’s a huge beer and you certainly know it’s a high ABV beer (though perhaps not 25%) but there is still lots of enjoyable character in here.

On tap at CBC 2012. Looks good in the glass, almost no head. Very sweet aroma. Starts very sweet, notes of chewing gum, extremly alcoholic. Fiery-fruity. Finish still very strong and fruity. Goes down burning. Interesting, but much too alcoholic.

Bottle*.Light unclear medium amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, riped fruit, wood, alcohol, light to moderate hoppy, glue notes, buzzy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20120421]

CBC. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 110512

On tap at CBC 2012. (Struise rating number 30) Orange with a large head. Very sweet with raisin, malt, spices, "tutti-frutti" and alcohol. The body was full. Nice to sip but heavy.

Draught at CBC. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Orange colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Honey/vinius. Light sweet and moderate bitter nice flavor. Long vinius moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Only slightly alcoholic.
