Draught @ McSorleys Old Ale House February 2013. A cheeky tick as cannot recall much about it.

Draught from the place. Dark pour duh. Hints of nuttiness and malt. Goes down quick because that’s what they want.

Tap. Black color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, grains, sweetish. Taste is the same. Velvety mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Better than expected.

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "McSorley’s Double Dark Ale". Deep, dark reddish brown color topped by a huge rocky tan head. Charcoal, roasted malt flavor hints at Worcestershire sauce. Dry malt finish. Good flavor.

Decent for style. Pours black with good mocha head and lacing. Light caramel. Some sweetness in finish. Creamy consistency. Tap at McSorley’s in New York.
