Created by Rodney Kibzey, Illinois.
Rodney describes his wonderfully complex brew as "deep amber in color with a full creamy body and a dark fruit and clove aroma." This traditional Bavarian style brew took Rodney a few batches to perfect, but the taste is worth all of his hard work.

Rich creamy dark wheat beer that does exactly what it says on the label. Banana, cloves and cream. Very drinkable.

355ml bottle from a trade with a non RBer. Very deep russet with thin beige head. Quite a sweet nicely bocky weizen. Does everything you would expect but more with an American character than German. Nice sweetish darkish malts. Quite pleasant. Drank on Xmas Eve in the kitchen chatting. Took about an hour to finish it.

Bottle. Sweet peach/banana, clove and wheat malt with just a hint of alcohol. Cloudy orange-brown color with small head. Sweet ripe banana/peach, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Light alcohol aftertaste. A spectacular beer - they really need to make this a regular beer. I just automatically expect that US Weizens won’t match German ones but this is one that not only stands up to the style but exceeds my expectations. Thank God I found this beer.

12 oz bottle from Hollingshead Deli; Nose is bananas, cloves, bubblegum, and caramelly sweetness; cloudy brown with a big, glass-lacing, tan head; flavor is fruity, ripe bananas, raisins, and slight sweetness; the finish is slightly sweet with a little alcohol warmth, then slight bitterness.

Bottle: Dirty, hazy brown with a nice creamy tan head. Wheat and spice make up the light aroma with bits of citrus. Taste brings in a little banana and a bit more clove. Rather smooth, balanced, and creamy. Not usually my favorite style, but this longshot was quite satisfying.

Very cloudy dark brown body with a medium creamy off-white head that rapidly dissipates. Sweet banana and light clove aroma, some yeastiness. Very spicy flavor, some more light banana and clove, some caramel. Medium body with moderately low carbonation.

12oz Bottle Pours out a hazy brown topped with a cream head. A nice aroma of malt and spice. Tast of clover spice and more malt. Very tasty. i would say that Mr. Kibzey should get a nice PAYDAY from the fine folks at The Boston Beer Company

Bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop in Durham. Dark brown color with a thick, creamy head. Good lacing. Spicy apple, pear, banana aroma. Taste is similar, but a little lighter on fruit and heavier on grainy malty tastes. Full bodied and effervescent. Alcohol could be hidden better.
