Thanks to cmillward. Not my cup of random beers thrown together. I mostly got boozy whiskey notes and raspberry syrup. It’s not an altogether bad beer, but the blend and the barrel-aging both don’t do it any favors. There’s a bit of tartness, too much malt sweetness and some earthy notes. Mouthfeel is a bit sticky and hot. Didn’t enjoy the aftertaste.

Courtesy of markwise. It pours amber with copper hues and thin white head. The full aroma doesn’t hesitate to cough up loads of berriness followed by firm earthiness, some funk, tartness, some bratwurst, spicy hops and floral hops. The taste begins sweet with bourbon and a light amount of vanilla mixing with cherries, raspberries and then more berries. This comes across as bright, slightly tart and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours murky brown. Nose and taste of semi tart raspberry, oak, chocolate, crunchy butterscotch toffee and caramel.

On draught at the brewpub, served in a snifter. The beer is a murky reddish-brown color with a thin light beige head that diminishes to an outer ring quickly. Short strings of lacing. Sour fruity aroma with some malty notes. Medium body with a moderately sour character and flavors of tart fruit, malt and oak. The finish is tart with a lingering berry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle shared by Brad, thanks! Poured a hazy amber with a slowly dissipating near white head. Aroma had a relatively strong sweet grain note with a slight tart fruit undertone. Flavor had darker grains with nice tart raspberry undertone.
