A double wit brewed in the abbey double style. Dark malty, lightly spiced, good apparent bitterness, subtle wheat notes. Some of the acidity is from the wheat, and some of the spiciness is from the yeast character.

750 bottle #77/100-shared by jtclockwork-pours mahogany with a light tan head. Aroma is sweet medium malt/wheat-caramel. Taste is spice hops, sweet medium malt/wheat-caramel. Easy. Slight drying at finish.

Bottle shared at my house. Pours caramel brown. Nose/taste of caramel, wheat, toffee, yeast and spicy yeast with a spicy raisin pear finish. Medium body.
