Bomber as "American Pale Ale", can only assume its this beer. Got the bomber at Publix in Orange Park FL while on a short weekend trip to work on the in-law’s house. Finally a night alone! After working, we got snacks, beer, and some movies. Ate the snacks, watched the movies, drank the beer, screwed mightily in an empty house. And the beer was refreshing enough, crisp, clean and lean bready malts with a pleasing citrusy hop. Light bodied. Golden with a large fluffy head.

Bomber from Grape & Gourmet. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, candied citrus, floral hops. The taste is big herbal, resin hops. Some citrus and pale malts. Medium bodied, somewhat green. Almost like a fresh-hop. Solid pale ale.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 23 Sep 2012) Golden colour with brief, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of grass, hay, bread and citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with bready malt, grass, citrus and generous amounts of citric hops and grapefruit in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Highly drinkable and quite nice.

Bomber from Oak Tree. Pours hazy orange amber with a 4 finger foamy/creamy beige head. Aroma seems fruity/floral. But it’s thick head. Med body. Flavor is floral and slightly bitter fruit (probably citrus) over a detectable malt backdrop. This leans towards ESB given the nice hop choices. It’s lightly astringent and definitely bitter. At 4.6 this is definitely sessionable. Good pale ale.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 11/19/10
Aroma: The nose has some floral notes, citrus, grains, and a little toast
Appearance: It started as a gusher, eventually a mostly clear golden beee with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is balanced, but a touch off, much like the nose, sweet grainy malts and floral hops
Palate: The body is a touch on the thin side, drinks alright, but with a lasting astringency on the mouth
Overall Impression: Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this one. I thought the nose was decent, but it was a gusher with a mediocre flavor and a weird aftertaste. I won't be rushing out for this one again. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but I'm just not that enticed to rush out for it again.
