From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish. Breadish, light sweet, mild fruity. Medium dry and roasted into the finish.

Served on draft at the brewpub. I just read the story behind this beer’s name, and basically 15 people survived because firefighter Jimmy D gave his life to save them. That’s a true American and New Jersey hero. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a large creamy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of earthy, almost peaty notes and toffee malts. The taste is similar with a slight lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
