Draught at Delirium as Lupulus Blond. Bright golden color, cloudy and clowing, with a pillowy head. Wheaty, spicy nose, lemon. Sweet and creamy flavor with strong citrus hops. Orange juice or lemonade, grass. Interesting. Too sweet, but good, with a full body.

Bottle DØE Randers. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter wonderfull fruity flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. mango notes. Creamy palate.

"Lupulus", "Ardens tripel bier", Flasche (75 cl) von Moine Austère, Tournai, 30.7.2013. - Hellgelb, trüb. - Antrunk süßlich-hefig und zugleich hopfig: blumige, ja parfümähnliche süßliche Hopfenaromen, arg ungewohnt. Dazu macht sich eine eigenartige, nicht schwere aber etwas ölige Süße (JPP spricht von Fritierfett) störend bemerkbar. Unangenehmes, ganz leicht brennendes Mundgefühl. Im Nachtrunk Hopfenbittere und wieder Fritierfett. - Kein Genuß, beim Wärmerwerden fast eklig.

(Keg at Cafe Thembi, Maastricht, 20130603) The beer poured golded and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A quite dry and very clean tripel.

From bottle. Golden-blonde color, but quite cloudy. Dense white head with good retention & lacing. Aroma’s: citrus, grassy, slightly acidic, yeasty. Flavor is light sweet with a medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice bitter finish. Nice Belgian hoppy beer.

geel/gouden, troebel met schuimig witte kraag aroma: citrus, gras, floraal. smaken: hop, mout, citrus, gras, koriander, peper, fruitig, floraal medium zoet, licht bitter, licht zuur, redelijk sterk, medium body, dun, normaal co2 indruk: floraal, citrus, fris, zacht, maar over het algemeen niet vreselijk bijzonder

Hazy gold beer, little white head. Light palate, dry and a little crisp. Dry malt. Minerals. Trace of citrus. The malt is somewhat bitter. Finishes dry. Over dry and lacking good flavour. So glad I bought a magnum - not!

Draft @ Brassigaume 2012. Finally got around to trying this one. Hazy golden with a solid white head. Smell is lightly floral with some esters floating around, light herbs and Belgian yeast. Hazy Belgian yeast, Belgian esters, touch hoppy even, herbs, flowers, grass. Quite hazy, enjoyable – not as good as erroneously? hopped.
