Location: Sampled at Tap NY, 4/27/13
Aroma: The nose is peppery, with some underlying pale malts, and a bit of hop as well
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves almost no lace
Flavor: Pale malts and light hops, mild citrus, and a pepper presence that overrides everything else
Palate: The body is light-medium, with average-plus carbonation, and spicy finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was okay, but the spice presence just seems to be a touch off, and doesn't quite achieve the desired balance that other, more successful, pepper beers achieve.

12oz bottle-shared by James-pours hazy yellow with a white ring. Aroma is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt. Taste is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt, then the pepper burn hits the back of the throat, the heat remains for a while. With the next sip, it starts again, but at a slightly higher level. 3oz is plenty.

Bottle shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours cloudy yellow with off white head. Nose of light malt, citrus and lemon. Taste is mostly lemon and light malt with a significant pepper burn that gets hotter as you go down the bottle. The burn isn’t over the top, but is still significant and balances fairly well with the lighter bodied brew.
