Bottle (with no clear bottling date) with much thanks to ratman. Pours with a murky, electric yellow hued body and an absolutely massive, rocky white head. Aromas are of sharply spicy, lots of grainy malt and robust base and wheat malt character. Grassy and peppery phenols, spices: grains of paradise, coriander, ginger. Lots of zesty and zippy citrus. Tangerine and grapefruit, a touch herbal. Great smelling wit. Great flavor too. Lots of biscuity, bready, grainy wheat malt, zesty, citrus and tart wheat with a peppery phenol and medium spice. Coriander, black pepper, tart. Lightly bitter citrus pith. Very nice floral esters. Lively bubbles, bone dry, floral throughout the duration. Amazingly good as are almost all the beers that come out of this facility. Really a great beer inspired by a traditional wit.

750-pours a fizzy/retaining foamy white head with cloudy yellow/straw color. Aroma is orange/lemon, coriander, light malt/wheat. Taste is ginger/coriander which gives way to orange/lemon, light malt/wheat. Drying finish.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours cloudy gold. White head. Nose/taste of grapefruit, citrus, coriander, orange peel and banana. Taste also has ginger initially before morphing into other flavors. Very well crafted. Medium body.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a huge, fizzy white head slowly diminishing. Aroma of ginger, clove, lemon, coriander, pepper with a hint of toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, velvety texture and lively carbonation. Lots of flavor in this wit, all nicely nuanced so that nothing dominates. Taste of lemon and orange, chamomile and hoppy flowers with coriander throughout. Nice tartness in the finish. The one off-putting aspect is the slightly soapy, perfume floral aroma and taste. Otherwise a top-notch beer.

Tap at Funkwerks - hugely spicy, perfume aroma- peppery, with aromas of ginger, citrus, lavender, rosemary - flavor is medium dry and very spicy - white pepper and ginger dominate - some orange peel and candied citrus on the end - lacks the yeast profile of a true it, but it is spicy and tasty - should probably be listed as a wit rather than a saison - tasty.
