Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #5. 12 ounce bottle with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grainy malts and grassy hops. The taste is grainy malts, caramel and apple. Thin bodied. Meh.

I normally don’t give pale lager looking things a 4 for looks but this pours beautifully into a frosted glass, looks yummy, big three inch head. Hudephole, rymes with beuatiful? Well any hudy will tell you the first taste is quite full of co2 and is bitter, but not as rude as most of melanie’s beers. Enjoyable, looks good and refreshing to an extent. Would never know this quality would be brewed at city.

Bottle. Lightly floral barley malt aroma. Clear amber color with nice off-white head. Light toffee barley malt flavor. Watery body. When I was 19, I could buy beer in Ohio and Hudy Gold was my go-to beer so I was really looking forward to trying this - unfortunately doesn’t measure up to my memories of Gold (or even Hudy Delite for that matter).
